Flajela are present.

Eg- volvox,eulothrix etc
RHODOPHYCEAE
·
These are mainly merain water alge few are fresh water alge.
·
These are red colour alge due to presence of
r-phycoerithrin & r-phycociamine
·
The reserve food material is florebean starch.
·
Flejela are absent.
·
These are multicellular.
·
Eg – btrachospermom.
CYANOPHYCEAE
·
These are fresh water alge.
·
The colour of alge blue green .
·
The colour of alge blue green due to presence
cphycocemine and xynthophil pigment.
·
Flajela are absent
·
The reserved food material is phycocimine starch
·
Eg-nostoc anabena
XYNTHOPHYCEAE
·
These are yellow green alge.
·
These are yellow green due to presence xynthophill
& chlorophyll and beta charotin and present.
·
The resev food material is oil.
·
Flajela are present and it is heterocynet.
·
Reproduction takes place by sexual, asexual
& vegetative method
